I'm an international student studying Psychology at BCU. Studying at university can be expensive! With the high currency exchange rates, I prepare a monthly budget for myself to keep track of my spending. I also often prepare food at home which saves a lot of money.

Do you have any questions about student life in BCU or budgeting? Please ask away! I will try my best to help you out.

And feel free to share your own money-saving tips too!

Hi StephClaire95,
I'm also studying at BCU, i'm studying ICT. Like you said keeping a budget is very important as a students.

A money saving tip that has helped me a lot is shopping in the indoor and outdoor market located in the city centre next to the bullring.
The outdoor market offers fresh fruits and vegetable for a pound a bowl. they also sell some organic fruit and vegetable cheaper than most supermarkets. the indoor market sells everything from meat, fish and chicken to toiletries and clothes. you can bargain at some stalls which is fun and saves a lot of money
