Anybody do this-and think there wasn't enough time?

1 A) proof-fine
b 0.884m

2a proof

b) ???????? Still don't have a clue.

3 Stuffed up-should have got it-anyone know the answer?

4-fine
a was proof
b was 0, pi/3 and pi (hopefully)
c was unstable, stable, unstable for above.

5a-fine, proof
b-kinda stuffed up, but similar question in textbook, so should have known it
c e^-kt(Asinkt and BcosKt)

I think A was k/2 and B-k/2 (or vice-versa)

6a-fine
b-might have stuffed up this one cos i forgot T would be vertically downwards after collision, adjusted answer so it fitted the proof though!
c- not enough time

I agree there wasn't enough time.

First question I get the same as you.

The relative velocity question 1 I could do. A bit of a silly proof though.

I couldn't do the second part.

Question 3. Ahhhh. I also did one simular but this had the winds at dodgy angles.

Question 4 I agree.

Question 5 I agree. I think I got A=B=k/2? not sure thought.

Question 6 i tied myself in knots. I thought for the second cpart it had colldied with the wall. Very confusing. I managed in the end. Also didn't have enough time for the last part.

Overall comments, my hardest exam, a very tough paper.

How many people do you think take m4?
