The future

OK, long story... Basically I've met this wonderful girl at uni and we are very good friends, and i'm just playing things by ear (no, this thread isn't about that). BUT, there's been a slightly ummm 'odd' (though not bad) turn of events. She wants to go to this festival with me in August and book tickets early - like next month! And, I want to go too!

Now, i'm probably making a mountain out of a molehill but anything could happen between now and then, we could still be mates, be an item, have been an item and now not speaking to each other, grown apart after a failed attempt to get with her etc etc. I really like her and if we have another evening getting on as well as at my party on friday, i don't know how long i can hold it in! So, should i think twice about making a deddication for so late or am i just making an issue out of nothing??

Oh and just to throw the spanner in the works (boom boom tssss) I have cerebral palsy and i will deff need help at a festival, especially in the mornings. She told me she'd be willing to do that, but then again that does complicate things if our friendship changes between now and august.

How much are tickets going to be? 30 quid? 40 quid?

I say book the tickets. If something goes tits up then I'm sure you won't have trouble shifting them on e-Bay or something.

Go for it. flogging them on e-bay should be a breeze if it goes belly-up.
nothing ventured nothing gained (sorry to coin a cliche but 'tis truth)

Get the tickets separately, that way you don't HAVE to go together. If it's a festival you don't need to book specific seats, right? Perhaps find some more mates who want to go in case you two do break up

me and my ex went to V 2005 and booked our 2006 tickets two weeks after getting back.. we broke up before then so i sold them on e-bay.. you may even make a profit!

but if you do REALLY want to go.. a whole group of you should go.. just in case xx
