Does anyone actually label themselves as a 'seagan'? Like seriously?

Today someone said for me to note down that they are 'seagan' and I have never come across anyone who has said that before, basically dairy and meat free including eggs, but eats fish, shellfish etc.

Would you take it seriously

I would have to ask them of their logic behind it because I don't understand it.

I thought vegans avoid all forms of animal exploitation/use, what makes fish and shellfish different?

'Seagan'?? I probably would've laughed if someone said that to me tbh

It's bad enough trying to get vegan meals in a restaurant, but imagine asking for a vegan salad topped with a cheeky bit of salmon. Good luck with that one. 😂

isn't that a pescatarian? which IMO is stupid too.

Basically they are carnivores, but choose which types of animals they eat.

Seems you younuns like to stick yourselves in pretty little boxes, and if there isn't a box that fits, you make up your own.

I think my reaction would probably depend on their reasoning behind it.

Some people say vegans should eat oysters. The farming process is very sustainable and it's suggested (but not proven) that they don't feel pain.

They mean Pescetarian the silly fool

Edit: oh are they saying they don't even eat fish? That's still a vegan...

No. Pescetarians are vegetarians [who reject eating animal flesh], but do eat fish.

"Seagans" are vegans [who reject eating all animal products], but do eat fish.

Both are completely stupid concepts as fish are animals.

For all you little narrow minded imbeciles who are talking down on a seagan diet, you need to expand your minds. Seagans do not eat dairy or eggs or any other animal besides fish because they are all horrible for health. Everyone knows salmons has omega-3's and fish is great for health w/ it's low fat and high protein. Plus it tastes great. This diet is less about saving animals and more about health for oneself. If you go on this diet for even a month I guarantee you will lose weight and feel much better mentally and physically. Think outside the box.
