Hey guys!
So I haven't seen many GCSEs forums on TSR that are specific to certain exams/exam boards so I decided to make a bunch so we can discuss revision techniques, exam dates/times and just generally about the exam content and stuff bc I find it really helpful when other people are having the same problems as me.
I'm studying:
- Unit 1 [Christianity and one other religion, which for me is Islam]
- Unit 12 [Judaism]
Feel free to ask me for help with any of them^

i do unit 1 religion and life and unit 8 religion and society.
How are you currently revising?? The exam is currently about a month away, but obviously i need to be revising now too. Are you actually memorizing information now?

I'm doing Unit 1 (Religion and Life) and Unit 8 (Religion and Society) on Christianity and Islam.
The thing I don't like is the lack of time. In the mock exam, I went through three pens.

And you can use it both for and against the argument
I do recommend starting to memorise some stuff if you can because there is SO MUCH to cover
This is how I revise:
I made notes for Unit 1 in year 10 so I'm using those to make mindmaps. Bc I'm a visual learner I'm doing one colour for each mindmap (one module per mindmap) and sticking them round my room. Then I'm covering up the information with post it notes and trying to memorise each section of a module if that makes sense. Also doing the practice essays in the text book (if you have one) or from past papers on the edexcel website help consolidate your knowledge after you've learnt a small section of a module

He covers - Unit 3 -Unit 10 and I think Unit 5?
Either way if you're doing Unit 1 there's a lot of content overlap and I'm sure there are with other units too
