Edexcel IGCSE French or Cambridge IGCSE French

Will either take the Cambridge French in November or Edexcel IGCSE French in June next year

Has anyone on here done one of the two?

I don't know which one to choose :/
Too late for you I expect, but for others in future - it's much harder to find an exam centre for CIE modern language IGCSEs than for Edexcel. The problem with CIE IGCSE languages is that the exam centre has to mark the speaking assessment themselves and then submit some samples for moderation. This is a major hassle for them. Edexcel just ask them to record the speaking assessment and then send the file to Edexcel electronically, and the exam board marks it, which is obviously a lot more straightforward .
I would not expect there to be much difference in the specification, and they are both equally respected.
Always worth ensuring you have an exam centre lined up before committing to a syllabus, especially where it involves a speaking or practical assessment.
