ive looked at the ocr website and the new units in a level physics seem interesting but i dont fully understand hwat has changed and what has remained the same but i wanted to know if unit 1 is still mnechanics as it dont mention it and i wanna do it

"Forces and motion" would be the title they've given mechanics to confuse people! So it's definitely still there, and likely comes into other topics (Newtonian world for example). The content seems pretty similar to current A levels (although I do AQA), but practical assessment has been separated.

It's pretty hard to tell if the difficulty will change. Taking the practical bit out should actually help, but the topics don't look too different so the difficulty shouldn't change too much hopefully?
