None of us can accurately predict what you can get, I'm afraid, as it's simply far too early and those results don't really have any equivalence in terms of what you should expect at GCSE. You still have a few years to go before your GCSEs so you'll probably mature a bit by then (not saying you're not mature now, of course ) etc.

They seem to be decent results though.

Generally speaking... But this is your current grade so yes it seems low, but do not worry. Even at year 10 most people are only expected to be achieving high Ds and Cs. So your current will generally jump 1 or 2 grades in a year (levels). So I guess you could say your predicted mostly Bs and a few As, but trust me GCSE is so different to year7-9 you can't really generalise or predict :/

Level 4=U
Level 5=F
Level 6=E
Level 7=D
Level 8=C
Level 8+=B

The national average for year 8 is 5c or 4a I think. So your way ahead in some of your subjects.

I personally can't predict your GCSEs well, but I suggest you have a look at the national average etc for year 8. This might help you get a rough idea of whereabouts you stand at the moment. I'm year 9 and here are some of my levels that I know. I am currently predicted to get A's in more or less all my subjects (yay!).

English: 7/8
Maths:8+
Science:8
French 5/6
Technology:7
History: 7/8
Art 7/8
Geography: 7

Hope this helps, but honestly you don't need to really be worrying (not now anyway! ).
I'm sure you'll do great .

No one who ie prepared to make predictions will know what they are talking about. You will be taking the new GCSEs with grades as numbers not letters anyway.

I agree, my GCSEs will be weird with getting new GCSEs (I'm currently in year 9) in maths, English language, and literature so I will be getting 1-9 grades in those. However I will get normal ones in all the rest?! It's so annoying...

Just to support this I took a Maths GCSE past paper last year and got a B, and I am a level 8+.

I think that what people are posting is quite different. It seems that all schools have different mark schemes.

You're doing fine, but as people are saying it's way to early. Just focus on what you're doing right now and enjoy your free time / childhood because you won't have it for much longer!
