Royal Commission and Law Commission

I am currently hunting for some advantages and disadvantages of the Royal Commission and Law Commission involving the legislative process so far I have:

Law Commission advantages
-Enables law reform to be debated and discussed
-

Law Commission disadvantages
-Lack of implementation of Law Commission proposals
-

Royal Commission advantages
-Experts advice on the given area of research
-

Royal Commission disadvantages
-It can take some time for Royal Commission to complete its research and publish its findings taking, sometimes upto several years
-It is not compulsory for the Government to follow any proposals the RC makes, so makes their effectiveness questionable

If anyone could provide anymore ideas especially for Royal Commission advantages within the legislative process and advantages/disadvantages for Law commission that would be a great help, looked at alot of resources and can't seem to find anymore clear cut answers
