best place to get a fairly decent but cheap haircut?

im a fresher and shockingly havvnt had my hair cut yet
wheres the best place to go?
how good is the hairdresser on campus? and how pricey?

oh oh uh, *thinks* in some brochure thing we got there was a "student" offer at a hair dresser in town. It said for like £20 you get the full cut/blowdry/style, plus a glass of wine, a mini head massage and nice conditioner used lol.
i will check for it when i search for my notes later haha.

Dunno what the one on campus is like, but there's quite a few around town. For the more fashiony type places (lol) they tend to be upstairs so look out for signs and doorways...

Like Diminutive said, there are some offers about for students, so might be worth asking some places!

Dont know what your looking for, but there are 4/5 walk in barbers in loughborough, all of which seam to charge around £5/6. with minor student discounts.
- Although non of them seem to be as good as the guy in our nearby town, who does a absolutly cracking job, in half the time, for £3.30. LOL!

You see, never found that a problem!
- Infact, my hairs now stupidly long, and i still havent got around to geting it cut!
- I was aiming to let it get a little longer anyway, but then ive just been so mega busy/tired it hasnt got done yet! I should post a photo! :rolleyes:

I had a horrible hair cut... the back was really short and the sides were perfect. Now the sides are longer than I like but the back is still growing out. So you see I have to wait for the back to grow out so I can have it cut and have it all the same length =p

just be a hair model,there are plenty of signs about.I admit the hair cut may not quite be what you exactly wanted but at the end of the day its free!

Place in town called James Moore did a pretty great job on my hair. I got my hair washed conditioned, cut and styled ect and a drink and it was under £15 and it was done really well. I need to go there again really but i don't have enough money :frown:

theres a place where i got a har cut for 3 pounds!!! its in front of wilkinsons (i think), theres this guy called tazz, he's really good at cuttin!

oh, but i think they got it wrong the first time i went, cause last week they charged me 6 pounds for the exact same haircut :/

but try it! its worth it!!
