HELP - Modern History and Social Anthropology @ St Andrews

Hi

I just wanted some feedback on my plans.

I'm currently an AS Level student taking English Literature, History, Economics and Media Studies.

I want to become a journalist.

So I was looking through university courses and found this one. I wanted to do a history degree at first, but this one seems really interesting.

It's an AAA grade requirement which I could pull off. I live in London, so it's a bit far, but I'm half-Scottish so hey, maybe I'll fit in.

Anyways, I just wanted some advice on whether I should pursue this degree with my career goals in mind. Joint degree opinions?

Thanks!

It's fine as a basis for becoming a journalist. Having a joint degree might even help that aim; it certainly won't be a hindrance.
