Descartes argument for Gods existence??? help please!

Is Descartes argument for Gods existence in meditation 3 a good argument?? If so, why do you think it's good??

What Descartes argument boils down to is that the only thing that can cause the idea of God in us is God himself.

Also, what are some criticisms?
