Essay competition on the future of health care
The General Medical Council is holding an essay competition open to all 16-18 year olds.
The question is: ‘What will doctors be doing by 2050?'
We are looking for essays full of ideas, inspiration and new perspectives, that are good enough for publication, fun to read and less than 2000 words.
Each entry must start with up to five bullet points that summarise the essay.
The prizes include £500 for the winner with £100 each for the five competitors who follow up. The GMC is exploring opportunities for publication of the winning essay.
The deadline for entries is 31 August 2004 .
All entries must be submitted electronically to
[email protected].
