Boyfriends friend

I am seriously in lust with my boyfriends friend. I think about him all the time Arghh!! Its not a question of breaking up with my bf for him because I love my boyfriend so much, and even if I was single probably wouldn't want to go out with his friend anyway. I just for some reason can't stop flirting with him. I think its because its 'safe flirting'-I know neither of us wouldn't take it further, as he is my bfs friend whereas if I flirted with a random guy they would. But..recently i think my flirting is a bit too full on.But I can't seem to help myself.

it could depend on how long you have been going out with your bf
If its been long... i guess you just wanted a new thing going, and since you always see your bf's friend round, he was an easy target!
if its been a short time... re-evaluate how things have been going with your bf.. maybe sub-consciously your mind is telling you that it aint happening

He's breaking several age old codes of conduct - and your boyfriend should give him a slap.

....your boyfriend should give him a slap.

*Ahem* she doesn't need a knight in shining armour to protect her! --- she has to deal with this coz she initiated the flirting!

Yeah...they all say 'none of us will take it any further' til you're both drunk one night and you wake up naked together in the morning.

You're a right slapper in my eyes, you are being unfaithful to your boyfriend. How would you feel if he was being 'full on' with one of your friends?

And then if he said 'don't worry we won't take it any further (further than what!?)

You're the kind of girl I hate. But I'm old fashioned. My girlfriend doesn't have the need or desire to flirt or anything with other men because she has me. I tell myself...hehe. But she's definitely not flirting with any of my friends...for one she's too hot for my friends but two, she knows better.

Dump your boyfriend (preferably before you cheat on him)

Nah, he should give her a slap for leading his friend on.

It has nothing to do with protecting her, it has to do with the fact that he's the guy's friend and is flirting (presumably more than innocently) with his girlfriend. It's disrespectful and you just don't do it. I'd give exactly the same advice to a girl.

I understand why you are having a go at me for doing this, but I have posted because I know it is wrong. It's not like I'm sleeping with him

ok put the club away cave boy, shes flirting its harmless until its taken further.

OP be careful, flirting doesnt mean anything but you like him and yes if the attraction is there and the situation is something else out of the norm then it can be taken further once hormones kick in.
And if you make the first move and all hes doing is having a laugh then your in trouble

Its just flirting, don't worry about it. You only have to worry about it when you feel the urge to take it further. If you ever get that feeling then you should re-evaluate your relationship before you do anything.

People can't help the way they feel, what defines us is how we cope with these feelings. So yeh you have a crush, no big deal happens in any relationship, you just have to evaluate your actions now. If you think you're being too full on maybe don't spend as much time around this other guy, at least until your hormones ave subsided. Seriously do not beat yourself up for having a crush, but just remember that you are not a slave to your base instincts and if you think it's harmless (as it may well be) then continue to flirt, but if it gets detrimental, then you have to check yourself.
