Hopefully you held it under cold water for 10 minutes, to cool it completely. It'll be a bit sore today - if you feel you want to cover it to protect it etc, use cling film, nothing fluffy! To be honest you'll probably be ok from such a minor burn, although it depends how hot the water was. It's unlikely you'll go into shock from burning your finger :p:

you'll be fine, but it'll hurt for a few days! There's stuff you can buy in some places called "magicool" which lowers the temperature of anything it touches, if it gets really bad, that stuff will completely relieve the pain, but only for a few moments I'm afraid!

Hot water burns are very mild compared to chemical burns. !0 minutes under the water is the recommended treatment. Dont put any creams on it. It will go in a day or so.
