Hi, I have taken a gap year to reapply for dentistry and got an offer from Leeds so far and will probably be going there. I was wondering if any first year dentist, especially if from Leeds could recommend what A-level topics to look over before starting uni because I feel like I've forgotten everything, and any other general advice to calm my nerves.
Thank you in advance

Congrats on your offer! I don't go to Leeds, but I'm a first year dental student.
If you've forgotten all your chemistry, that's fine. If you want to look over stuff, go for the biology. DNA, action potentials, pharmacology (agonists, antagonists), receptors and their mechanisms (e.g. G-protein coupled), carbs/proteins/fats, etc.

Thanks a lot for this. Could you tell me what kind of timetable you have and how much free time you have for yourself?
