I'm currently in year 9 and I had to choose my GCSE options for year 10.
I chose: History,Sociology and French
Are these subjects hard? Should I wait until year 10 until I make up my mind whether to change subjects?

*Oh,and i'm thinking about being an author, would any of these subjects help?
Like sociology;understanding classes in society and people.

I do all three of these subjects and I have found that:

History - help you write essays and read critically
Sociology- help you understand society and the different roles it plays
French- help you get into a good universtiy

I hate my life in every angle for picking French. Especially because I already had a language GCSE
But I may just be someone who hates French GCSE, you may love it!

Thank you for answering.
I just have one more question.
Would this help me to become an author.I know you need English primarily to be an author, but would any of these subjects help in any way?

Yeah! Both sociology and history is beneficial in learning how to write critically.

I am not at university so I do not know how uni's will look at certain gcse subjects.
