Should I be flattered or offended when people think I'm Brazilian/Spanish? Watch
LOLOL I've had this happen a fair amount of times.
I'm neither flattered nor offended. It's just someone asking you a question. No need to get worked up over it.
what ethnicity (or ethnicities) do you identify with? Because I've noticed a lot of my mixed/biracial friends get this.
No, but I'd correct them. It would be a great conversation starter.
When I tell people I'm half Brazilian I get told how exotic it is.. so take it as a compliment!
I should be what? And no I'm not brown haha. I'm naturally tanned, like Adriana Lima's skin tone.
Yes I have.
My mums got Austrian Jewish, English and Scottish ancestry and my dad's got White, Asian and Black in him. I know, a lot going on haha. Anyways but I mostly Identify with being White. It's so strange because when I'm in Europe or the Americas people assume I'm Brazilian/ Spanish. But when I'm in Asia or Africa I'm seen as being White.
Haha why offended if Spanish though?
Not to appear vain or anything but I am a 9 in any sense
I do correct them and it indeed is a good conversation starter.
So flattered then?
I don't know to be honest but most people think Brazilians are some of the most beautiful women in the world.
I bet I could pass for anything if I tried hard enough
