I have applied for chemical engineering, however don't believe I am smart enough or good enough in chemistry to be able to handle it.
I'd much rather do accounting and finance (not saying its easier but atleast there is no chemistry) how I have already sent off my application, isn't it too late?! btw im in yr13

You can completely withdraw your application and start your UCAS application again, although many courses will have been filled up.
Your best bet would be to wait for your results and if they exceed your firm offer, go through adjustment for the course you want. If you don't do as well, clearing is available.
Your last option would be to withdraw your application, take a a gap year and reapply again next year..that way you have equal opportunity as everyone else applying and can choose a uni you actually want rather than just settle for what's available.
