theres so much though i dont see how we can remember all this if its only a small element of the exam that might not even get asked. im looking at

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenya_Vision_2030

http://www.vision2030.go.ke/index.php/projects/social

http://www.unep.org/dewa/africa/kenyaatlas/PDF/KenyaAtlas_Pre-Chapter1.pdf

i still dont fully understand it apart from its got 3 pillars and wants to maintain sustained economic growth of 10% p.a. over next 25 years :/
As there is basically no core data in the AIB a maths related test is very unlikely to come up

Remember its not about remembering loads of figures, its just about knowing how to interpret the booklet, thats all you need to know really, remember the pillars all they are, are generic things like for economic, tourism, increased remittance, more savings of the people, increased public investment.

This exam is more about being able to manipulate knowledge you are given thats why it is an evaluation
Any one having trouble accessing the riders website?

It would be good to know some figures, after all i dont know what will be on the paper, but read them a little bit and just understand HOW they help reach the goals, its mainly due to their similarities
Do you think there will be a question on statistical skills, like standard deviation, spearmans rank, chi-squared or the Mann-Whitney U test?

some people seem to think Chi squared, but in the AIB there is no statistical data, so i doubt it

please help - to what extent is kenya ever likely to achieve its mdgs?

please help - to what extent is kenya ever likely to achieve its mdgs?

very very broad question:
likely because:
Primary school enrolement at 95.8%
Mobile coverage at 92% (outreach)
Improvement of health infrastructure (the riders)
Connections with global economies such as Toyota and China
Life expectancy and other item 1 improvements show there is an improvement
Country achieve sufficient public investment
Kenya has proposed numerous Green energy alternatives
Lion economy of Africa
Poverty line (those below it) has reduced from 56-46% from 1997-2015

Unlikely because:

Continued prevalence of HIV/AIDS
Stigma against the disease
Corruption (ranked 146 out of 178)
Still millions not reached by healthcare
Over dependent on foreign aid
Terror attacks such as the university attack in the year, this shows a reluctance to advance into western modernisation and development
looool at the riders website crashing! cheers for the pdf one!

I dont see how chi squared can come up but if it does should we learn it or would they tell us how to do it?

Anyone know why there are still some areas of relatively high population density, well away from the high relief and cropland, with low precipitation?

There's pockets of population density in the north west due to 'temporary' refugee settlements, noting the fact that the borders here with Sudan and Ethiopia are disputed which might be a reason there's refugee camps here (area of conflict)
