I've fancied this girl since september and it still won't go away and I've literally tried everything - blocking her on social media and I've also told her but still no progress. I still have feelings for her, for example whenever I see her it all just kicks off, I think Failed my a levels all due to this stupid waste of time. I want to know how everybody else deals with a problem like this. I've tried it with other women also I've tried drowning my sorrows with rom coms and also love songs but that makes it all worse. I've tried to stop socializing and that seems to make me far more alone.

I would try finding a hobby which you can use to take your mind off of her. For example, I started Ice Skating.

getting over a crush is easier than someone you love. You'll almost never get over someone you love. Facts

True. It was excruciating when I tried to get over someone before. It was so bad I nearly went and ended everything.

It can be very hard to get over a crush, and it may be impossible to get over love. We don't have an on/off switch. The generic advice goes like this - try to forget, try not to think about her too much, try not to dwell on these thoughts too much. Go out there, socialise, make friends, have fun, have sex with other girls, focus on your work/studies, indulge in your hobbies...by doing this, you'll be distracted from thinking about your crush and you'll eventually get over her. Crushes are usually quite superficial, but love is something else entirely.

Crush is easier to get over. Love takes time.

I'm great, thanks; how are you?

I only ask because you seem to be very knowledgeable about this sort of stuff. What's your secret?

Crushes are pretty easy.. Just spend the day keeping your mind off it and ignoring them.. Then it goes.. As for love I've only ever had 2 experiences with it and it is very very painful and difficult.

Only one real 'long' crush'. Unfortunately, nothing's worked for me, and I've like this girl for like three and a half years still going , think she knows, most people in school probably knew at one point. I've personally tried just about anything, from hobbies, to drinking, from exercising to other girls. Exercising probably worked the best, and that's not saying much considering that I still like her.

For crushes literally it goes away very quickly if I don't have much interaction with them.

Idk bruh...

Based on my experience if you wanna get over a crush and you're good looking go clubbing. I personally think its one of the fastest ways, it works for me.

What you need is sexual/intimate interactions with other women to get over a crush, clubbing provides this.
