c) The guitarist needs to raise the fundamental frequency of vibration of this string.State one way in which this can be achieved.
In regards to part one you are told that there is a node 0.16m from the start of the string (where the 0.16m line is on the diagram) hence you need nodes at that distance apart throughout the string with anti-nodes in between.
Part 2 - You know the wave length so can use f=wavespeed/lambda
Part 3 - To increase frequency in any situation you have to decrease wavelength and hence the musician would have to make the string tigher/shorter
