a) find the binomial expansion, in descending powers of x, of (x^3 -1/2x)^12.


(This question) Find in its simplest form, the term independant of x in this expansion

Please I am very stuck.

Surely if you've done the first part, then the 2nd bit comes out automatically?

Can you post some working that you've done already?

The aim is to find the term which has no 'x' in it. So check your answer to part (a)
