When will female singers finally realise they are a disgrace to women?

Most female singers today dress and look like prostitutes, and they claim they are fighting for equality and an end to sexism

gotta be a joke, right?

I was confused who you meant, but now realise you mean prolific porn stars like Beyonce, Rhianna and Miley Cyrus. I think they already know.

Stop generalising ✋.Adele is definately not a disgrace to women.
Ignoring that that's a gross generalisation, and most female artists aren't like your Cyrus' or minajs, have the charting female artists that tend to go for this sex sells approach to music ever really argued in favour of equality?

Only if you count equality as both curvy and skinny women should be objectified

Equality is about both men and women being able to express themselves however they please. Therefore singers are actually liberating to women, showing a variety of acceptable ways they can express themselves. That is, women can express themselves however they choose, rather than having to act lady like in the way the patriarchy approves.

They can wear whatever they want, they are fighting against people like you who say they look like prostitutes for simply being a woman and wearing something revealing. That is sexist, men have done and will continue to strip off on stage e.g. taking their top off when they get too hot and it doesn't get mentioned. They are sexual in their performances because you shouldn't be ashamed of it, women can enjoy sex and state that they do, men have no problem in stating that they love ****ing. It's double standards.

"When a woman is assertive, she's being bossy. When a man is assertive, he's a boss." Beyonce. Too true.

Maybe small minded judgmental guys like you who belittle women for their personal choices are a disgrace to men?

Also I don't see you complaining about all the male rappers who dress and act like pimps in their music videos. Or is that completely fine?
I've started watching the music channels recently and i'm amazed at what they can get away with these days, it's almost soft core porn. Little kids watch this **** and are definitely influenced by it.

What really pisses me off at the moment is that dance song with the fat women working in an office who then runs off to some party island and sluts it up. It's basically glamorising being fat and slutty.

well that is true, and she would be a disgrace if she dressed like a hooker, but that's only because she can't, however, Madonna/Mariah Carey, well that's another story, no thanks:eek:

Of course it's fine, because men are different.

This kind of male behaviour is symbolic of being an Alpha, NOT a prostitute.

The solution to objectification isn't in stipulating the behaviors women must follow to prevent being viewed as a sex object, but rather the solution lies with modifying the behavior of those who choose to view people as sex objects.
