I am currently still trying to obtain an internship preferably at an investment bank and in particular risk management. However my parents have contacts in India which allowed them to find me an internship in an investment bank in India and be placed in risk management. Is it worth doing as this company is solely based in India, but I still want to find a job in the UK? I'm still continuing to apply in the UK and haven't given up hope! So just wanted to know whether it is a good opportunity to go to India or a waste of time and employers will disregard it because it is not a UK based company? Thanks for any help

I'm kind of in the same position. Working As IB Analyst in a no-name country in an Arab country. Want to know how I can transfer to a UK IB position? Especially as its an emerging market.
