Geology - What is the black thing in this thin section? Watch

And the minerals around it, is it silimanite and plagioclase feldspar? Is the black mineral Augite by any chance? When you turn the platform around, it doesn't change colour. And the thin section is garnet mica schist.


You can see the shapes of the black mineral better in the next photo.

Given the cubic shape,the fact that it appears to be metamorphic and is black in xpl they are probably Garnets
