MPs are debating on whether or not to pilot a scheme allowing domestic violence and rape victims to report abuse discreetly.

This is something that has already been started in America?

What do you think?

If used correctly it could do a lot of good.

A good idea.
And of course the dv side of it will encourage men to report to and not have to face derision.

I don't know if it would also include sexual assault by women on men (I think it should, but I don't know if it will), but I would hope that it would at the very least also be something that could be used by men who are raped by other men. I think they face a lot of the same stigma as men who suffer domestic abuse - they don't want people calling them gay or whatever even though it was in no way their fault.
