Can someone help me interpret this graph?

If the blue graph represents the free energy of the solid then why is it crossing into the liquid section of the graph? Likewise, if the red graph represents the free energy of the liquid then why is it crossing into the solid part of the graph? I mean those sections are reserved for liquids and solids respectively no?

Maybe I'm interpreting it wrong?
