Pharmacy - 2016

I'm in year 12 at the moment and was wondering if Pharmacy is worth studying at uni? I've heard that it's too saturated etc.

I an holding an offer for pharmacy (2016 entry). I would say you should try and get at least a week of work experience and see if you like the job or not. I think the employment rate for graduates is still very high so you shouldn't be worried.

I heard this too!
But we had an Aston University Pharmacy Lecturer to talk to us

They said community pharmacy is getting saturated BUT the other ends of pharmacy are opening up for eg now they're planning for pharmacists to take up The walk in centre jobs in A and E for minor 'illnesses' and long term medication etc for eg diabetes etc
There's also Prison pharmacy and Veterinary Pharmacy
And army pharmacy
There's so much you can do
And you can still get a pgcse and go into teaching
So don't worry
Even though it's getting saturated at one end its opening up opportunities on the other side
