I've been given some homework and one question, which seems quite easy has confused me. It's simply "How would you test for Zinc Hydroxide". At first I thought easy, methyl orange, but then I was told this would only test for the OH, not specifically for Zinc hydroxide. So if anyone knows for the test for Zinc hydroxide I'll be grateful.

Heat it - it will decompose into zinc oxide which almost uniquely is yellow when hot and white when cold
