Im considering taking advanced higher english next year but I'm wondering how difficult the course is? This year (5th year) I'm taking higher and i got 77% in my prelim. Normally i get around 21/23 for my critical essays and around 30 in close reading, however my school is rather small so advanced higher courses aren't timetabled you take them and do the work in free periods and get help from teachers to do the coursework. Do you think it would be too difficult to do if no one else is taking it and i was being taught in spare time? I'll be doing higher history, childcare and a NPA in journalism in the same year as well. I think it would be handy to take as i want to do a 3 year degree in english and then a year of teacher training after school however i dont have to have it to get in. Thanks
