I thourght it was the worst paper I have ever seen, i couldn't answer a single question and left after an hour.

How did you find it?

I didn't do the paper, but a friend of mine did. I was sitting next to him in the exam room while I did my politics exam, and judging by the look on his face, he was finding it pretty damn hard...

But then, isn't that supposed to be the point of AEA ?

After Step III, it was a relief to get back to finding answers, but it was still a tricky paper. I got answers to all of the questions apart from 1,2 and the last part of the last question.

I did quite a lot of the paper but it was still tricky. Question 7 was nice, but question 5(c) was something i couldn't get, same for 6(c), but I should hopefully pick up some method marks. They must have someone else doing the papers this time around because it was a lot more interesting than last year's at least.

It was much harder than last year's and I didn't make question 1 and questions 5(b),(c) and 7(c). It was clear that it was much harder than any A-level exam before and I spend the whole 3 hours without finishing! Still interesting and challenging.

couldnt get 7c) but got all other parts using the sum to infinity that they gave. 6c) i got as far as a>=4. couldn't get 1, but now i realise i should have used dot product. 2 was easy using t substitution, 3 i got an answer but i think its wrong, same with 4 and 5.

Question 1 & 3 were about the only question I could do in the damn thing. (I also walked out quite early)..

Out of interest anyone still have a copy of the paper? I'd quite like to look over the questions now that the exam season has come to a close and I can think straight again.

cheers,
j
