I'm currently studying sociolinguistics and just wanted to ask Mancunians or people of Manchester, do you pronounce the final -er ending in Manchester, or letter, father, etc as an 'o' vowel? HELP!!!

I would say Manchesta, not from there but it's close. I guess people from Manchester might say Manchestuh

I wouldn't say it but i don't really have a manc accent, people from salford are more likely to say ManchestOH, but I think most people with a manc accent would say Manchestuhr
