Some of the early Cure stuff is quite good, if a little dark... It's a bit less poppy :tongue: Ah I see! The Chameleons are great, really underrated. The Comsat Angels are too. The Cure made a fantastic album in 1989 called 'Disintegration'. Very, very good! I was also listening to Talking Heads recently. Very good :smile:

Dark is good...:tongue: I know, I heard them in a playlist and automatically downloaded an album of theirs:biggrin: again, I'll have a listen today if I have the time, wouldn't be surprised if we had it on vinyl if it's their early stuff:h:

Charity shops are the bomb! Volunteering at one is actually a really good idea, work experience and the best picks in one:biggrin: my nan works in one, and she's always bringing me designer stuff (most of which is pretty much new).

Money is money! Really good, mainly neighbours' kids, who I knew, and they'd go to sleep at 9 so I'd have a few hours to do whatever (while still getting paid!):tongue:

Yeah I agree :tongue: but some of it is just a little too dark... On two early albums - 'Faith' & 'Pornography'. I thought so anyway.

All my best stuff is from there!:biggrin: I suppose overpriced is good if the money's for a good cause? It's bad when you get a £150 coat for £1 because the old dear running it has no idea of brands (so gave them a fiver for it!):tongue: it is good, would be bad if the kids were evil, but mine never were!

Same pretty much! I see what you mean, though it puts other off from buying from them if to buy it brand new is cheaper. Aww that's very generous of you! Haha that's good - imagine getting kids who were a total nightmare!

I guess, unless it's vintage/designer, it shouldn't be much... And don't try and pass top shop or something as designer, as they often do!:s-smilie: It was worth at least a tenner:biggrin:

I'm quite anti-eBay, especially clothes, but so long as they're making money I guess:wink: yeah, I live in an area where 70% of clothes is primark, so charity shopping's the only chance to get decent clothes (if there is any!)

Really? Haha I use it quite a bit when I buy stuff :colondollar: And yeah that's true! Aww no! And yeah, charity shops have some pretty decent clothing (if your there at the right time :tongue:)

Nah, I like to be able to see what I'm buying, even if I miss out on things:redface: yeah, they can do! Especially if you go to the nice bit of town... (Ps we've kind of attacked this thread with our chat!:biggrin:)
