Is painful sex something worth talking to a doctor about and if so who?
I'm not living near my gp at the moment. Will the walk in clinic be okay?

In case anybody wants details/ can offer advice:

I have always had irregular and very painful periods. I am now on the pill to stop them. I haven't had sex that many times, but every time it has hurt a lot. Last time I had cramps at night for two days after too. I have previously discussed the possibility of me having hormone imbalances with a doctor as part of a different matter. These sorts of imbalances can be linked to issues like polycystic ovaries. I am really embarrassed as I am relatively young to be talking about this sort of thing and I'm not sure if I'm just being a wimp .

If you can't see your GP, I would be talking to a sexual health clinic - possibly with a walk-in service - rather than one of the 'instead of going to your GP' walk-in services.

You're not being a wimp, and talking about this stuff is a sign of maturity.
