As Literature Coursework Dilemma.

So, my As English Literature final deadline (Dubliners, Dante's Drumkit and Steetcar) is on Monday and I've got my Streetcar section nailed down. However, the 2000 word aspect is proving difficult. In class we've been told that we need 3 points (Topic sentence points) yet I've only managed 2 lengthy points before exceeding the word limit. After editing, it's still only just under the word limit and there is absolutely no way I could add another point without shortening my current points.

So, do I keep my 2 well fleshed out points or do I cut them more and create a 3rd?
