Revision techniques and planning

I am studying English, Biology and Philosophy. I revise subjects at the moment based on when I need to do homework, but as you all know (those who are currently doing your AS/A levels), the exams are coming up soon. I just wanted to know what your techniques are? How do you divide your time into revision timetables for each subject, how long do you spend on each and what are your methods that have contributed to your success in achieving the better grades? Would like everyone reading this to post your views on this, because there are so many ways, which method is the best and why?

Please post, would really like to hear your opinion!
Thanks!

ok, i havent started doing this but i got it planned. know all your content first, try understand it if not memorise. then do past papers with markscheme alongside with examiners report so you could see where people went wrong (majority). make notes on this. and keep doing past papers. this should work.
