to me, if you want to abuse your body, or take risks, and your choice doesn't directly harm or damage anybody else without their consent, then you should be free to do whatever the hell you want. therefore, not only weed should be legal, but also coke, heroin, MD, LSD, schrooms etc should also be legal. what's the difference in principle? some are more dangerous than others? but also technically more pleasurable? well then, we as adults have choices and responsibilities to uphold as free and rational agents, and that is what makes freedom what it is - it isn't a guarantee of flourishing, but rather it is dignifying and respectful to leave us to our own opinions and decisions, as opposed to having a government tell us what to do as if we're mere children

Maybe the only way for it to be legalised is if ,it was used as medical marijuana by a private health company. The government would see the multimillions they could be gaining if it was used as other legal drugs.

    This.

Illegal drugs should be treated like alcohol is. As long as you aren't breaking the law while under the influence, they should be legal.

The reason why it is illegal because Government and (Bill Gates: owner of drug war and trade in the world) make billions from it yearly. They profit the money they get from police raids and seizures as there will always be an increasing demand for cannabis as its a safe plant which grows just like any others. Yet they make alcohol legal and weed illegal?! Ask yourselves why. Common sense really, weed gives us medicinal benefits proven by scientists (spain) yet its not legalised all over the world.

I agree one of the main issues with cannabis is that PoC women are traifficked into britain to grow and harvest cannabis, if we legalize cannabis we could regulate this so oppressed groups are not forced to pick/grow cannabis.

The high THC strains do not have anything close to the same medical benefits that a high CBD strain has. They just get you really high.

Cannabis should 100% made legalised in this country! I will never understand why alcohol is legal whereas cannabis is not. Alcohol is a depressant which causes many long term health problems such as liver and kidney failure, it's a depressant, Addictive and can cause overdose. Whereas cannabis, is an anti depressant, is a natural painkiller which doesn't have many of the dangerous chemicals like the generic drugs we all take and it doesn't cause death or addiction. I can't even begin to explain my annoyance as to why it is illegal and a class B drug whereas alcohol is perfectly legal and causes thousands of deaths per year! I understand why certain class A drugs are illegal but then again if many of them drugs are illegal, alcohol also should be made this way!

I would have thought getting really high relieves you of a lot of stress/anxiety

exactly - in my opinion, with prostitution, things like brothels would actually make prostitution safer for the prostitutes, and it would make sure that people with STDs/crabs aren't allowed to do anything (as they test for that kind of stuff in a lot of brothels). more importantly, if selling things is legal, and sex is legal, then why is prostitution illegal (mostly illegal in terms of street lurking prostitution etc)? and how is pornography legal when prostitution isn't? the only thing that is different between the two, really, is that there's a camera involved in one of them.

Legalise all drugs-remove the market from dealers, reduce crime, know what's in each drug so if OD's occur, they'll be easier to treat by doctors, but also improve access to rehabilitation for those wishing to stop. We live in an indulgent society so you need to have a way out for those who don't know when to stop.

Brothels should also be legalised and regulated in my opinion. With panic buttons, std tests and customer regulation and avenues for working girls to leave the trade easily available to them should they so wish. I do believe they shouldn't be advertised so readily ala amsterdame style though.
