Pregnancy worry
I am on antibiotics (amoxycillin) but the doctor did not tell me that it interferes with the pill as they normally tend to when you are prescribed antibiotics and are on the pill. I completely forgot until now that they might affect the pill and now its too late for the morning after pill. I was on about my 15th pill of the packet when I had sex whilst on antibiotics, if I am correct this would be a fertile period? Is it possible that I could be pregnant? Obviously I realise that I have to wait for a test or to see if my period comes, I just wanted a bit of reassurance.

It's possible to be pregnant although somewhat slim but i would get a pregnancy test soon.

to be honest, you just gotta sit tight and see whether you skip, before you start to worry yourself half to death!
If your preg, it won't show on a pregnancy test for around a fortnight after conception anyway (your hormones don't show at high enough levels till then). but go and see your doc cos he/she will give you far better advice than i ever will.

I agree with JollyJo. Even though it's not very nice, wait and see if you get your period or not as a test might not work yet. Also even if you do get your period I'd do a test anyway just in case.
I went on antibiotics and didn't realise it could affect the pill until afterwards either but all was ok.

Thanks alot guys, a bit of reassurance is all I needed. I just hate the way it says 'antibiotics MAY affect the pill', I wish they would quantify what that means!

It just simply means there's a possible chance the pill may not be effective when you are using antibiotics.
