Living in Bournemouth

How does living in a vibrant town, with plenty of activities to get involved with sound? Oh and you can visit the beach whenever you like!

If you are thinking about coming to study in Bournemouth (with AUB, Bournemouth University, or AECC) or are starting in September and have any questions about the local area, life in Bournemouth or what it is like to be a student here, ask us!

We think we're pretty lucky here in Bournemouth...

Located in the picturesque county of Dorset, Bournemouth is also close to the jurassic coast, new forest and famous landmarks including Durdle Door.

School's out for summer!! We've just finished our end of year exams here at the AECC  My favourite thing about living in Bournemouth is the beach, and as the college is so close to the sea it's really easy to head down to the coast and relax. A good way to get involved with student life is to join a student club. After our exams the AECC running club ran out to hengistbury head in beautiful sunny weather, partly to blow off steam and partly to enjoy the stunning view of the Bournemouth & Christchurch coastline. It was so clear we could even see the Isle of Wight and Purbecks!
