I'm 15 and can't get a girlfriend. Please help

:rolleyes:So I've been looking for a girl for like 2 years now and I can't get anyone I've either just been ignored, turned down or she's already taken. :frown: Is there anything I can do, I forgot to mention I'm short for 15 I'm only 5"3 or 5"4 but there are plenty of girls smaller than me and also I've been starting to workout to build a little bit of muscle. Please help me I've been feeling very depressed lately and getting turned down makes it worse. There was a girl who seemed interested like a week ago but now she just ignores me so what ever. All help is greatly appreciated :frown::smile:

Right, there are a number of problems with this thread.

1. YOU'RE 15!
2. YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING SINCE YOU WERE 13? WHY?

I really do not understand this at all. I suspect the majority of people my age (currently at the concluding years of University) were not obsessed with getting partners or anything at 15. Why aren't you still acting like children? You are children! Stop growing up so quickly.

Go get your friends, jump in some dirt, build something from left over wood, buy some cheap nerf guns and have a small war, go swimming in a lake... do something that children are meant to do!!!
Sorry to hear you're feeling down about it. All you can do is focus on making yourself a good person to be around. Then, if you give it time, girls will spend time around you. No sense in stressing over it until then. :h:

Spoiler

I think it's perfectly reasonable to look for a girlfriend around that age

He started looking when he was 13. Does that not sound weird?

He is letting a lack of girlfriend, at the age of 15, affect his mental state. Worry about it when you hit 20, not bloody 15.
The most unoriginal thread ever. It's clear that you should be focusing on your GCSEs and developing skills for future employment.

Oh, it is perfectly reasonable. But to be this desperate at 15.. Pretty darn ridiculous. And needy. And pathetic. No girl will ever go out with someone this needy, desperate and pathetic about getting a girlfriend unless she herself is as desperate, needy and pathetic about getting a boyfriend.

Seriously hoping that this is an April Fool's thread.

Fair enough, I had my first girlfriends around that age and I can understand why it might be important to him. Feels a bit harsh to just shoot him down tbh.

It's perfectly okay to have a girlfriend at that age, and it's perfectly okay to be looking for a girlfriend at that. But it is not okay to be this obsessed over the idea of a girlfriend at this age. It's downright unhealthy. No wonder he's being rejected with that attitude, is all I'm saying.

It is not the concept of having a girlfriend at 15 that is the problem it is the being desperate and actively looking.
Honestly, the best way to do it is to STOP LOOKING.. Go out, do yo thang.. Just enjoy life and you'll see someone and I'll click (probably).. Right now, I'm tryna get my 4years ex-gf back and it ain't going too well.. Not a reply has be replied.. So yeah.. I'm almost 18, a virgin, I've had 2 gfs in my entire life.. Chill kid.
I agree with Teaddict - it does sound desperate at the age of 15, and he's been looking since 13 which is young and should have other priorities like eating dirt. Albeit, if he does find someone then there's nothing wrong in that, it's just 15 is too young to worry about such little things

Don't let a couple of rejections bring you down mate. Focus on your studies, go to the gym like you've said, and yeh it will happen! Just chill for now..

Why? I mean enjoy your teenage kid. Why are you looking for trouble? If you gotta get girlfriend you will get it. You've still got time. Go out and play workout, build yourself.

In my year at school dat shiet was pretty normal. My friend seems to think it's really terrible and awful that I don't have a girlfriend at 16.

Being 15, you have a LOT more to worry about than girls.

If you stress too much about not being able to find a girlfriend, it will have an impact of your educational life as you will be too focused on looking for a girlfriend.

No point in looking, someone will come around eventually.

Plus, being in school, everyone will be all up in your ****, constantly asking about your relationship and 'how it's going' and trust me, if you guys end up breaking up, **** WILL hit the fan.

Honestly, wait until you are done with school, thats the most important, then go out looking for a partner in crime!

absolutely. The problem with modern society is epitomised by the OP. Putting girl's on such a pedestal when exams are looming

Girls go for many things, but in the end status counts, you need to stay healthy, be honest, kind and hard-working and you will get a job which makes you happy and you will find that girls will be impossible to avoid. At young ages girls have more maturity and go for the older men (with status as well) and you will just have to wait. Good luck.
