I can't see any other threads like this. I want to know what 3 issues you personally consider most important in this election, the issues you really care about and will heavily influence your vote. And why.

I don't know who I'll vote for if I vote at all. But my 3 would have to be the environment, an EU referendum, and the government caring about place outside London for once.

The environment matters to me and the Conservative government's record on it has simply been abysmal. An EU referendum because of the sovereignty issues associated with the EU. And regions outside London are often ignored, like how the so called "recovery" has hardly affected the north. I care about quite a few other things, but these would be my top 3.

Immigration and what the government should do about immigrants (in terms of employment, education and benefits). The new government needs to crack down on this. Labour and tory governments have failed to address this issue and nip it in the bud, the situation spiralled out of control and needs to be fixed.

Education.

Public service funding.

Affordable housing for young people.
Unemployment
Travel/commuting (the high high high high high cost of commuting on train and the failure of the franchising system)

If i'm allowed to add a fourth: The lack of investment in the north of England

Unemployment and the creation of more jobs (especially better opportunities for young people; I'm at uni at the moment so this is really important to me).

The benefits system really needs sorting out. None of my family have ever claimed benefits so this won't directly affect me but it annoys me to no end the amount of people who sit at home doing nothing all their lives and expect someone else to pay for it. If you don't work, you shouldn't get given any money. Simple as.

Thirdly, immigration needs to be addressed. Obviously some immigration can benefit the country but the current system just isn't working.

Inequality - it's a disgrace that the word wasn't even mentioned in the Leaders' Debate.

Environment. It's a disgrace that this wasn't one of the main topics in the debate. The closest we came was when that heckler asked them why they all supported fracking, and Bennett said 'I don't'.

NHS.

Ideally, if Miliband sticks to what he says he's going to do and takes the democratic-socialist route then that is the best. However, whether he can be trusted or not is another matter entirely. I'd love for him to prove me wrong and he may get that chance, although I highly suspect if he does get into power it will be just more of the same.

I don't see how you can say immigration without the EU, they are inextricably linked.

Clumping a few together for #2, the international ****, so get rid of that stupid 0.7pc GDP on aid, keep defence spending up, reduce immigration, at least renegotiate with the EU, leaving if necessary
Then further benefits reforms for #3, although the NHS is only just behind
