For those who have done OCR Addmaths

How long do you think it would take to self-teach the OCR Additional Maths course, I would have the textbook and revision guide

Do you think I'd be able to self-teach myself up to an A* standard?

Firstly that big book is awful.

Buy the revision guide by Michael Ling.

Second to revise I watched Exam Solutions videos for C1/C2/M1/S2?

Third do all the past papers.

It is pretty much a free A since the curve for an A is ridiculously low.

Good luck.

Yeah I know not sure why, apparently binomial is death, even some really solid maths guys I know say they hate it :/
I'd say I've done about 2/5 of the course but it's a long story as to why I'm having to self teach it haha

in gcse stats it was the only area where I dropped marks on!

Its not that difficult per se:

(nCx) * x^(p) * (1-x)^(n-p)

Something like that iirc :d

Hardly lol did a lot of S2 yesterday

Yeah reached a limit apparently, maybe it is too late but if you look at the exams solutions videos especially for C2 they really helped.
