Hi

As part of my History of Political Thought module I've got to do 2000 words on

How do Thomas Aquinas’s and Saint Augustine’s ideas on religion and theology compare?

I've tried reading around but am not getting anywhere - all of these articles I've found are too advance and presume I know everything already.

Can anyone sum up the main similarities and differences between these two philosophers on this subject? Also can anyone recommend good textbooks or journal articles on this?

Thanks
