Question about science a level exams Watch
In the exam, I'd like to have a piece of paper to scribble down quick thoughts in my head (particularly when drawing out skeletal formulas, and other structures. Does anyone know if I would be allowed to ask for such scrap paper? It won't have anything on it prior, just my workings etc... Of course, I would write the actual correct working on the exam paper, but I would use scrap when quick brainstorming.
Just don't put it in with your paper at the end of the exam in case that gets marked too
The flip side of that, is if you go OCR A and you use the extra space, make sure you clearly number any Qs otherwise, they WILL NOT get marked. Even it is obvious to the examiner that you're answering Q5 a ii then unless you put Q5 a ii then they are not allowed to credit you.
I'll bet the other exam boards are the same.
