I did the same thing before, in my opinion, I think starvation is not a disease, but there are websites stating the symptoms of starvation , so is starvation a disease?

I'm not too sure about this, actually - I've never really thought about it. I'm not sure whether I'd call starvation a disease, but I can't seem to come up with a suitable explanation!

Yes the broken bones and loss of growth you get from it are what I would call, a disease. Also you must have a disease to think you must starve yourself.

Starvation is not a disease, no. But starvation can lead to diseases. Starvation isn't just dying kiddies in Africa - anorexia nervosa is a form of starvation, which leads to significant disease and illness.

Starvation, by itself, isn't a disease. It's a physical state caused by a deficiency in caloric intake. Today's estimates say that about 12,5% (1 in 8) of people are starving. It is the biggest threat to today's health.
Some diseases, like anorexia or bulimia, may cause starvation.
There are also diseases caused by starvation. When people starve their immune system is severely affected, so they are under a bigger threat for infections, bacteria, viruses...
Also, starvation can lead to vitamin deficiency, anemia, edema...
