hi everyone.....

i have applied for a postgraduate course in cancer biology to be started in sep, in the westminster university in march...........its been 4 weeks and i am beginning to freak cuz i haven't received any offer letter yet. plz tell me how long this uni takes time to offer? nd any tips on how to write the 200 word thing for the scholarship?

Postgraduate admissions are often slow to respond. In addition they will have been closed for several days over the Easter break (Thursday-Tuesday in many cases.)

Best to either email them or give them a ring to follow up on your application. Be polite, they will update you. Four weeks is not long to wait for an acceptance - but you are at least entitled to an acknowledgement of your application.

There will be some info about what they're looking for in the scholarship essay so have a read of that. You also want to talk about why this course and uni and how it fits with your career plans and why you need a scholarship and deserve one.
