Will doing only 8 GCSES disadvantage me when applying to Oxford?
I'd like to apply to Oxford in the future and I'm currently doing English Literature, English Language, Maths, core and additional science, spanish, computer science and history. Will doing only 8 GCSEs put me at a disadvantage, and will they favour applicants who have got more?
Depends on the grades really because 14A*s is better than 8A*s but 8A*s is better than 3A*s 6As and 5Bs
I've heard Oxford look at % of gcses ranked A* and proportionality too. So as long as like 7 of those are A*s you should be fine to be realistic competition.
