sun cream how long does it last

i have some sun cream thats 2 yrs old and i was wondering if it will still protect me its ambre solaire so it shuld b ok ... i dunno any ideas ?

I wouldn't trust it, not worth the risk.

Even if it did work, after 2 years it wouldn't be nearly as effective. By that time a lot of the polymers inside that absorb the rays would have broken down.

Too true.

Anyway I hate suncream ... all this sticky sh*te all over me feels horrible. I can just about put up with the spray on stuff tho.

There is great suncream called Banta. It isn't sticky at all. It's a clear gel that you can get either as a cream or a spray. It all rubs in in less than 5 seconds. I hate the old style white suncream rubbish too.

I agree!!! It should come in pretty colours like pink and baby blue!!!

when i was little i used to have blue and pink suntan lotion. little miss suntan lotion was pink and mr men was blue....


they do loads of different colours now in the kids range!!!

i read that you should get new stuff every year just to be extra sure- have a look and see if there's a use by date or try phoning the compnay- they usually hav freephone numbers.

oh dear...my foolishness knows no bounds...when I read your original post I was shocked and confused at how a person could manage to still have suncream on after two years- is it incased in a protective sheild? now I realise my own stupidy and willingly don the dunse cap...oh dear...

I hate the sun. No matter how much sunscreen on, I still burn. And I NEVER tan. And when I try self-tanning stuff, I turn orange. Its a Catch 22.

lol. at least if ur too cold u can put layers on, but if ur too hot.. there are only so many layers a person can take off! but gotta say the world is a friendlier place when its sunny.
