Hello,
I'm currently a higher level apprenticeship at a smaller accounting firm, doing AAT level 4 and business skills. My contract with the firm is for 2 years and I started last September but I'm due to finish both the level 4 and business skills by august.
My problem is I applied to an audit job at PwC (starting autumn 2015) in there college leavers program and I have got through to the final senior interview. I haven't mentioned this to anyone at my current firm but i'm confused about what would happen if I got the PwC.
I'm guessing the start date for PwC will be after i've completed my AAT 4 and business skills so will I be fine to just leave my current firm and keep the AAT qualifications? and also would I be liable to pay any of the AAT fees that were paid by my current firm since I would be leaving about half way through my contract?
Thanks
P.s if anyone needs tips on the PwC assessment days, I'd be happy to share my experience.

Check your training contract, but generally, if you bail out before the end of the training contract, even if you've done the exams, they'll rake back the course fees from your final pay cheque.
